Dental crowns, commonly referred to as caps, provide an alternative to decayed, weakened or damaged teeth. Crowns are placed over you natural tooth / teeth, giving it a shape and look of a healthy tooth.

The initial stage is the preparation of the area (clean up and removal of any decay). The next stage is the impression taking and delivery to the dental lab for fabrication. It takes between two and five working days for the laboratory to produce a crown/s. In between treatments, our dentists fit patients with temporary crowns which will protect the exposed teeth. Once crowns are ready they are adjusted and permanently cemented onto the prepared teeth.

Crown work with My Dentist Abroad can be completed on either one 5 day long visit (in case there are no serious infection or need for extractions) or two short trips (2-3 days each).
